I wanted to have some of his ashes loaded into shotshells so we could all do a mag dump with the SAIGA he built me and send him off properly...

still waiting to see if we can pull that off
I am all in on that kind sir!

I will wear my Glockmonger skull beanie more often in remembrance. We were trading parts either gun or r/c I don’t recall, but he gifted me one of his rare beanies. Just cause. Actually I think he said “ shut up and just f*** take it”.
You’ll be missed.

Really surprised and sad to hear this as was my better half when I told her. Daniel was an artist with what he could do with a firearm. He was a friend. RIP

Damn, one of the first people that I met on the old board, went to his place on 7th St several times and still have a really nice Saiga 12ga conversion that he did for me. Always had a Glock 26 in his pocket and inspired me to do the same. RIP.

I know he was known for his Saiga stuff, but I really admired his revolver work. True art.
He will be missed

I met him back around 2010. I had an AMT .22 mag semi-auto pistol with a failure to feed issue. He tried but couldn't fix the problem. Not his fault--that pistol was a POS. He was always the first gunsmith that members on the .com site would recommend, almost regardless of type of gun needing work. He was definitely a memorable character, a very entertaining guy that you didn't want to be on the wrong side of. RIP

Was sometimes posting about sex with men trannies? Never did know if that was the odd sense of humor or his kink.

Just in case anyone else was wondering what happened, a quick search and I came across a page with these details:

On 1/21, Daniel "GlockMonger" Mullins was found dead at his home in Tempe, Az. Cause of death is pending the final ME report, but it looks to be a heart attack or stroke. For those who knew Daniel, or had work done by Daniel, and wish to donate anything, there is a GoFundMe se up to help assist with his final wishes here https://gofund.me/55c7d722

I too, got to see a gun discharged in his trailer. Got this little 100 plus year old single shot breakopen action .22 from someone on the original forum. Showed it too him and he asked if it worked. I had never shot it. So back to the room we go and he puts some rounds thru it. It shot just fine. Of course I was thinking inside WTF.....he did work on a Ruger Mark something that was really rough and it was a thing of beauty when it was done. RIP Daniel.
