Coronavirus = ammo stockpiling?

I find it hilarious that 12/10/8 years ago when we were stockpiling ammo/supplies/prepper goods, etc, the left was going crazy about how nuts we were. Now, some people get a more nasty version of the flu, and the left is charging in to Costco, clearing the shelves of hand sanitizer, paper towels, and bottled water. I love the irony.

Well yes - but since most of social media has banned the latest ad by PDJT re-election team, where their video has a complete collection of Biden's Video Gaff's up to last week and was banned due to derogatory content (what ever that means), Most social media people (ones that only use that for their future decisions) will never see them or this new video.

I doubt his campaign would be denied access to public media, during an election period, without some heavy public relations repercussions.

I didn't do any panic buys although I did do a recount and found 2 half cases that I forgot were Christmas gift from last year.

Does anyone actually know what started the whole toilet paper hoarding in the first place? And as far as the inhalers go I guess people just need to think there is a short supply and they will start running to their Doctor requesting prescriptions

Social media, specifically twitter. It actually started in Japan. There was a post that said all toilet paper in Japan comes from China, which isn't true, and people panicked and bought it up. It then hit here and snowballed into meats, canned goods, water, etc.

Thanks for sharing why the stockpiling started, guess I should have figured there was some actual reason behind it even if untrue.
