Isn't the SAF predominantly considered to be a standup organization doing good work?, I mean compared to the NRA.

Compared to the NRA, they do very little, but they have a good reputation.

I see no negatives on this appointment. Will not hurt them and probably help them, since Massad has a large following by himself.

One thing SAF has going for it, if you buy on Amazon....yeah, yeah, F Amazon...

If you set up your Amazon account and purchase through amazonsmiles, it will make a 2% donation of your purchase price to approved "charities". SAF is on the approved list.

As of August 30, SAF has recieved almost $190k from the Bez.. Probably burn his azz a bit if he knew.

You can do the same thing with the AzCDL and keep your money protecting your 2A in Arizona. That's what I do.

Wasn't aware AZCDL was on the list.
Will be changing that.

Already a Life member, but it they can get 2% off Bez, makes it even better.

Actually, SAF has always been saddled by being Gottlieb's personal cash cow. I stopped having anything to do with them after getting ripped off twice in a row by them. Gottlieb's reputation and credibility problem are what has required him to prop up somebody else as the front man, and Mas is it. Mas has been a long-standing fixture at SAF, so it's not all that surprising. But why Mas has stayed beside Gottlieb is a mystery to me. I don't think he's aware of exactly how he and his own good reputation are being used as camouflage by Gottlieb. But heck,...maybe Mas can actually do something about it, finally.
