We Knew It

This is the place to post your news and reviews on anything that's firearm related (rifles, magazines, ammo, barrels, holsters, training classes, optics, etc). Please try to make the reviews as thorough as possible and include pictures, or links to pictures if possible, as well as price(s). Some syndicated content will go here as well.

And I am sure they are monitoring every site remotely possibly related to firearms. I bet they have a whole department of dingleberries "monitoring" 3d printer repository sites, airsoft sites, and cosplay/prop maker sites as well. The amount of money they spend "monitoring" legal and law abiding citizens probably outweighs any actual work by 10 to 1.

I hate guns! Guns are icky! And gun owners are all racist extremist right-wing Proud Boys militias.
Thank goodness we have the ATF to keep us safe. They put their lives on the line for us every day, you know. Every day.

How can it be a warrantless search or surveillance , when they are reading public posts that anyone else can read ?

OK - not "search" but I'd say think that monitoring people in public for a specific purpose without a warrant would constitute surveillance. This is not seeing a crime or having a report of a crime, and investigating it... this is surveilling and data gathering about a subset of American citizens, outside of any specific criminal investigation.
