Gov. Ron DeSantis has released his proposed $115.6 billion state budget for 2025-26, including raises for police and firefighters, nearly half a billion for the Division of Emergency Management, and a new tax holiday in addition to previous tax-exempt periods for disaster emergency supplies, back-to-school needs and tools.

The governor's “Second Amendment Summer” would temporarily eliminate sales tax for guns, rifles, shotguns, ammo and accessories.

Maybe one day AZ can have a governor like this.
