Stealthy 2m/70cm Antenna Suggestions
I'm looking for an out of the box, HOA friendly or hidden 2m/70cm antenna idea. I kind of like the https://www.ventenna.com option but am curious what you guys are using.

I made a j pole out of copper pipe. It’s not out of the box, but it pretty easy to make. I have one on the roof, that I attached to a vent pipe. Another one I made a stand out of PVC so it’s portable.
I don’t live in an HOA, but once the copper oxidizes, it doesn’t stand out at all.

For out of the box, the commercial J Poles are about $40.

It's an all aluminum antenna and could be painted.
Also you could consider a mobile dual band antenna. I've done that mag mounted to the roof AC.

You can make a pretty good J pole out of twin lead antenna cable and nobody has a clue what it is.

That's the one I mentioned being sold commercially.

I have a version of that twin lead antenna. I'm hoping to mount something both permanent and durable. I think the heat and the sun will kill the plastic coating in pretty short order. I think I may try the Arrow J Pole and see how far I can get out.
