Discuss being prepared for contingencies and emergencies. Oh yeah, and the coming Zombie Apocalypse, of course!

Literally hosting a Zombie preparedness class for October. Has anyone ever attended emergency preparedness classes or any courses with REI?

Also participating for classified access. So please help a brother out. Had access at the old site but not here

After the Florida school shooting, REI announced it would no longer carry Camelbak hydration products, because the parent company of Camelbak also is parent of a company that makes Evil Assault Weapons.

F___ REI. Along with Dick's and Nike, they get none of my money. They don't want "people like me" to contaminate their stores, and I am happy to accommodate their hate posturing.

REI is a liberal POS company. I can't see them having anything useful to provide as far as SHTF scenarios.
