Re: What is your SHTF side arm?
I have a Redhawk in 44mag as well. Blue'd 5.5" though, still weighs about 10lbs. It's still a weapon after the lead runs dry!

Very true XJThrottle,... I wouldn't want to get cracked in the head with one!
Also,... you never know when you could use a good solid hammer!

Beretta 92, holds plenty of ammo and every idiot in America has a 9 so ammo is plentiful

Yup, I do like irony, once in awhile!
As to caliber accuracy,.... I believe 45acp to be just as accurate as 9mm.

Glock 19. 15+1 rounds in a compact, reliable, and accurate package is not to be messed with. The pistol and magazines will outlast all of us. The other option is a Hi Power, and the same conditions apply.

My S&W MP is as compact, reliable, and accurate a package as any other pistol made in the world!
As to the statement "not to be messed with",.... I have absolutely no clue what that means.

Re: What is your SHTF side arm?
My Glock if I had only one choice. 9mm concealable and it will run whatever I put through it and doesn't necessary need cleaning
Re: What is your SHTF side arm?
9mm would be ok because there is a lot of it out there. If the shtf anything Is better than nothing. I guess if I had a endless supply of ammo. My 9x25 dillon G40. But really anything I come across laying on the ground.

Re: What is your SHTF side arm?
Out of what I own it would be a CZ-75 and that would be primarily due to the abundance of available 9mm rounds, as well as the accuracy and dependability of the CZ. Although you can hump around alot of 5.7 to feed an FN.
