One year of food for $600
From American Partisan;
IMPOSSIBLE YOU SAY!
Well… one of our resident geniuses on Forum.brushbeater.org, figured it out and already did all the hard work for you.
Including how much room it takes up during storage.

My problem is storage, you stay at my house and open a closet you gonna find food storage.

That's a good start. And yes, for what the mormons offer, they're hard to beat for quality and price. Don't forget water, salt, honey, cooking fuel, etc.

That is mainly carbs, need some other stuff to balance it out. Eat beans and rice every day for a month and you'll die or wish you died

Need to add some Keystone canned meat and some other stuff to that list. I'm with Kingjoey. If I ate only that stuff, I'm not sure I would want to go on living for the whole year.

I'm a fan of the idea where you go through and just pick up some extra of what you already eat from the store for a rainy day. It gives you a good layer of better tasting protection before you have to pull out the rice and beans.

They have Chef Boy R D and Corned Beef Hash.
Pancake Mix and Syrup...
Powdered Gatorade.
Not sure what I will do with 60 pounds of wheat....

Lol...reminds me of one of the sealed containers I have that is nothing but bullshit.
Contains nothing but some mac and cheese, soups, rice, and some vanilla pudding.
I mean its better than feeling like you are hungry but thats about it.

Do you have a good source for Keystone, and which products do you prefer? I've recently read good things about them, but I'm not familiar with their line.

I've only purchased the beef and chicken, and it's been great. The beef is where it's at. They tend to have a longer shelf life than a lot of other canned products as well. Unfortunately, I don't have a good source right now. You can order it from Walmart and Amazon, but it's in huge demand, so the availability has gone down, and the price has gone up.Old Jeff H wrote: ↑August 27th, 2021, 11:38 amDo you have a good source for Keystone, and which products do you prefer?
