OPSEC
If you’ve been in prepper circles for long, you’ve probably heard the term OpSec. It is taken from military jargon and it’s short for Operations Security. In the preparedness and survival world, it generally means not letting other people know that you are prepped, or if they know, they definitely don’t know the specifics of what you have.

Re: OPSEC
If we were to be really serious about OpSec, we would not read or post to this site.
Drop your membership at the gun club, and don't participate in any shooting matches.
Stop reading conservative websites, including zerohedge.com.
Quite the dilemma, no?

Re: OPSEC
The scope of the surveillance apparatus is STAGGERING. Practice OPSEC in the sense that you don't do anything online that will get you arrested or fired from your job, but don't kid yourself, we are all already on a list.

Re: OPSEC
You’re all on a list since the original background check scheme started.
Do you think any of those records from when it started that were held at the CLEO level were destroyed as the law/regs stated?
I respond with an emphatic “No”.
In addition to this, I’ve witnessed ATF, walk into a shop and demand to see all 4473’s for the last 30 days. After the forms were brought out front, the agent stood at the counter with a legal pad, and wrote down every single name from the forms.
