CCW wait times.....

#1

Post by Hansen »

As an FYI, I have been waiting almost 4 months for my renewal (DPS accepted 4/14, I called 8/13). The office assistant looked my application up while I was on the phone and approved it right there and stated it would be mailed out Monday/Tuesday next week.

AZ DPS CWPU (602) 256-6280

My new application was received on May 10th and just last month I received mine. Usually they have been much faster for renewals. They must be getting slammed. I did call at the time as well just to check if I had missed something.

I have to say the people I talked to were all very helpful and nice. I was actually surprised.

How much time do you have after completing the class do you have to apply? My wife got the class work done but hasn’t completed the process.

Glad they got it updated for you. I’m planning to check the status of mine on Monday

Another data point for 2021. I applied for mine and my wifes in March. They took the full 90 days to approve mine. My wife's on the other hand came back in a week.
