Depending on the transaction, 3rd party MVDs are a much more pleasant experience than state run MVDs. The one near me, Queen Creek and Gilbert Rd has no postings.

How are their additional charges?

It's worth every penny with literally none to 1 minute wait because fees chase people away. I always go to 7th Ave and Deer Valley, DCR Titles and Registration.

Although if I can remember, it's usually $10 to $30 more fees than DMV. Depending on what though.

MVD are posted but CC is CC. Just don't attempt dancing and back flip at the the same time, you'll be allright.

I remember when the secure storage law was passed years ago and I went to the Scottsdale MVD because I wanted to have a first-hand experience of how they had implemented the system. It was largely uneventful, except that they tried to insist that they keep the key for the locker while I was there. LOL. That discussion was humorous, but ultimately, I ended up holding onto it (they key).

I don't use those anymore.

I go to a 3rd party one also and it's reasonable for the fast service.

The MVDs I've been in have been posted. The third-party place I went to was not. I won't go to either joint without a gun, posted or not.
