I know that the Battlefield Vegas owner is a regular on Arfcom, for what it's worth.

The OP doesn't need a dealer in Nevada, he only needs a dealer in AZ that will accept the firearm.

Yeah. I think I’m going this route.

Vegas had had enough of me.

Appreciate the link.

I think I have a new plan. Take my FFL to Vegas. He said there are a LOT of delays and I’d likely get a “delay” and cause a return trip to Vegas.

Or ship it.

I don’t think the drive, delay, re-drive is worth it for THIS particular rifle.

I do appreciate all the offers for help that came my way. Cause IDK sheet about Phuck…..I just know I have a lot more fun not talking to the AFT bois.

Another option, if the seller would agree to meet you at an FFL in AZ. you could do the transfer face to face. Do not know how much driving either of you might want to do. Lots of FFL shops in Kingman. Meet the seller and do the transfer face to face. I did the reverse a while ago, ran up to Vegas and meet the buyer at his FFL and did the sale and transfer.

Hope you don't go DELAYED on your NICS, or they're not down at the time.

Nevada uses a state background system, which is just middle man for NICS so the state can charge for a background check…and it has been taking a long time (multiple days) since the pandemic started. If you visit Vegas for a day and expect to leave with your rifle, you will not.

Best bet is to have an FFL in Vegas ship the rifle to your FFL in AZ. THOUSANDS of firearms are shipped everyday and they don’t get “lost”…your fear of shipping it is irrational. UPS ground is at most a 3 day journey from Vegas to Phoenix. They offer shipping insurance for a reason. Just have it shipped.
