Court: Handgun sale ban to under 21 is unconstitutional

Something I never really thought of...but it makes complete sense.

4th Circuit Court of Appeals says that banning the sale of handguns (from licensed dealers) violates the 2nd Amendment of 18-20 year olds. This should make it's way to SCOTUS.

I'm all for it. Either you're an adult at 18 and get all privileges or you're not an adult and you get no privileges.

Should be able to drink, too.

Yup .. If you can enlist or be drafted into the Military at 18 .. all bets are off. You should be allowed to drink, buy guns or do anything else that a man can do since you are in fact a man and not a child.

When I was in the Army, if you weren't 21, you went to a separate bar on base that sold only beer and wine, but you could buy and drink those. Now you can't and that's B.S.

I mean, you can leave your parents health insurance way sooner than 26, you just aren't forced to until then. Doesn't really fit in a list of restrictions when something is actually granting a privilege.

Perhaps.

But if you can be on MY health insurance you can NOT smoke.

The issue I have is how inconsistent it is.
