glock zev trigger issues

I picked up a gen 4 17 with a zev flat face trigger/bar/disconnect. When you fire the trigger with reset enough for the next round but not enough to engage the safety anyone else experience this or can point me in the right direction on fixing this? I tossed it in my polymer 80 19 frame and it works as it should it just doesn't like the 17 frame for some reason.

Which safety is not engaging? Drop ? Trigger? Firing pin?

I gave up in Zev after so many issues with their triggers and firing pins I figured out they are just crap.
To date, I’ve never had an issue with an Apex or OverWatch trigger
