Sight finish

Discuss work on firearms; whether that is making yours from the ground up, milling an 80%, putting together a kit, or fine tuning a trigger job.

Sight finish

Post by jes3se »

I’ve been carrying a Glock 43 with the vickers sights, and the sight is super sharp, pokes into my stomach. I want to round it off, just the rear face at the top edge.

How would you re finish the sight after doing a little melt to it?

Brownells sells some liquid blue products that would likely touch it up.

Yep! the BC cold blue will work on most surfaces but not all.
