Considering my own “Glock” build.

I’ve noticed a few posts where the polymer lowers have been on sale for as low as $75, and the slides/barrel combo being on sale for $250. It’s given me the urge to bite, however what I really wanted was a simple G22 with a 9mm conversion barrel. Would I be able to accomplish this with a build? Would a conversion barrel still do the same?

Simple science tells me yes, what I don’t know that I don’t know tells me no.

You would basically need a G22 slide assembly that you could drop a 9mm conversion barrel into (.40 vs 9mm rim size).

Recoil gunworks had complete G22 parts kits in stock but it appears they were cleaned out in the panic buy frenzy.

I’ve noticed some places have parts available, but not sure what great prices what be. I’m more on the side of “getting a good deal” than “dying to have one”

There was a company at the gun shows B&R of K&R. That sold complete kits. Anyone recognize them. I had there card and can't find it.
