Looking for a local gunsmith to install a dove tail front sight on my Chiappa 1892 Trapper CAR (Cowboy Assault Rifle). The front sight was canted a few degrees off to the left from the factory and required quite a bit of left windage to correct POA. I was able to move the front sight to the right some but the end result looks like crap.
What I'd like is to have the existing front sight milled off and a dove tail front sight installed properly centered like the one on a Rossi R92. The pictures below are the Chiappa front sight as it stands right now and a dove tail front sight from my Rossi R92.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
