What’s up guys/gals

Need some help finding someone with some skill to machine a baseplate “full mag” indicator pin for some ak12 mags I have - I’m in Gilbert so the closer the better - I can also provide the one I have for specs, but would need 5 additional for myself - any suggestions?

It might be cheaper to figure out the gauge or thickness of it, length between threads, and buy it as jewelry. Use "industrial barbell" in your search. You could probably get all 5 in stainless steel for way cheaper than one hand machined..

Are the parts you actually need the ones in the first photo? If so the spring is a no-brainer. You can probably find similar at ACE Hardware if not McMaster Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/springs/compression-springs-7/
The pin has single pointed threads on the end. If the pin outside diameter can be increased slightly it's much much easier to make if you drill and tap the end and install a set screw in it to get the protruding thread like that and in fact you can get set screws in different hardness grades so your not dependent on the actual pin material. The sleeve potential no need machined either. If you can choose a drill bushing (McMasterCarr again) with the appropriate OD/ID and length. Any questions? IM me.
ETA the lathe turned stepped down diameter on the pin? press-fit or loctite a drill bushing onto it as required.
For the pin itself, Drill rod https://www.mcmaster.com/drill-rods/tig ... teel-rods/ It's not hard until you heat treat it. If you want it hard? drill and tap first. These are a lot harder than the drill rod. If it doesn't matter you're good to go. https://www.mcmaster.com/drill-bushings ... ushings-9/
Set Screws https://www.mcmaster.com/set-screws/non ... screws-10/

Yes - the pics are from the factory mag - I have the rod already cut, and ready to be milled - I did one by hand using a file and my drill (poor boy lathe), and a set of tap & die tools to thread the cap - takes me about an hour to do one, but know it’ll take a fraction of that time with the proper machining - I need to get a bulk amount done - I’ll check out those links tho - thanks
