My son has a Ruger MK1 target pistol he wants a high polish blue job done on it. I just bought the Winchester Model 12 16 gauge that was in my estate sale ad. This shotgun is almost identical to my Dad's that I grew up with back in Michigan. I snuck it away back in the late seventies and had it reblued and wood refinished for either his birthday or Christmas. My oldest son now has it.
I want to restore the gun I just bought and have it passed down in the family when I am gone.
Is there a gunsmith in the valley that still does bluing? I can polish the metal if needed.
