e. valley gunsmith recommendation wanted

Discuss work on firearms; whether that is making yours from the ground up, milling an 80%, putting together a kit, or fine tuning a trigger job.

e. valley gunsmith recommendation wanted

#1

Post by Buckshot Bill »

I was at AJI gunshop this AM, and the gunsmith that had his shop there-Bob Pultz/Coyote gunworks- is no longer there and I was told he retired. Too bad, he, imo, did great quality work in a timely manner, and I thought he was very reasonably priced.
So, can anyone suggest a good gunsmith in the Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe/ east valley area that they've used and would recommend?

Thanks, Buckshot Bill

Bob Pultz is a great gunsmith...didn't know he finally retired.

What kind of work do you need done?

What work is needed? I wouldn’t refer you to an AK guy for a bolt bun.

Just a general "do it all " type shop like Bob had. And I agree, he was a great 'smith, and a nice guy too.

I have had a few small things done by Wright Gunsmithing -- sight installations, etc. They seemed to be organized and professional.

Guys, thanks very much for those recommendations. I'll stop by Wright's soon and check them out.
If anyone has any more suggestions I'm all ears.

The two times I received a quote from Wright's they were 4 times higher than just sending it to ADCO.
