Built ar-308 and have a issue, empty chamber and can rack the bolt no problem, but I chamber a round and I can't pull the charging handle open, I have to use a rubber mallet to get it started.
Is it normal for it to be that tight?
Sounds like a chamber issue. What do the rounds look like?
