I S O a gunsmith to change out a barrel for me. I have an 8 3/8 on the 629 now and want to put a 4" on it.
Can I get a recommendation for someone in the east valley??

Re: 629 Barrel change
Is yours the full under lug model?
If it were me I'd find a 4" to buy.
However Nelson Ford does great work. Make sure to call ahead of time to make sure he will be at the shop:

Check with Bob Pultz Gunsmithing in Apache Jct.
He's on Apache trail, 10444 E. Apache trail ,AJ. [480- 322- 5819]
At the rear of AJI gunshop
Bob's done some excellent work for us and I'd highly recommend him.

Re: 629 Barrel change
IF your's is a 'current' gun, with lock and MIM parts.....give Smith a call on the work. They may be competitive. On an older gun, I'd check with Ford, also.
