Gun type and size would be helpful in giving potentially useful advice. Include in what position you plan on carrying ie AIWB, 4 oclock, cross draw.

Also where you think 95% of your carrying will take place, woods, around town, lakes, work.

Dont know if I can offer anything useful as far as advice but .. it would certainly be more useful with some additional information.

I've been carrying an Alien Gear IWB for around 5 or 6 years with a P220 .45 at 4:30

Absolutely the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever tried.

I like Kydex for OWB. IWB, Kydex is too hard on my delicate little body. For IWB, I prefer leather, specifically Sparks Summer Special.
