Re: Rats tq
That’s ok. Cuz it sure as hell works for me. And many more in the field.
Test things yourself instead of reading about it. You’ll learn a lot more. Maybe you have, and it’s not for you. That’s cool to. There still in business so it must be doing something right.
Being in the private protection sector we can’t wear tons of bulky gear.

Re: Rats tq
Remember, the only thing that’s bad about the rats is that it’s basically a thick bungee. The thin design “could” cause damage more then the wider design of the others. Ya gotta look at why, not just cuz they said so. Know the limitations of all your gear. If the person even carries it, cuz thats90% if not more of the ppl I know. They never have medical supplies on em

Re: Rats tq
If you want a slimmer and smaller profile then a CAT, look at the SOFTT-W and how to flat pack it.

Re: Rats tq
I say if you have it, carry it, if you need to use it then do. As a guy that almost bled out of my arm in a roll over. I didn't care if there would have been more damage to the arm before a belt was applied as a TQ, I had figured I was losing the arm already and after about a min and the ride to the ER I started to think I was not going to make it. Being alive is better then all the things that could be worse. Most TQ will not work on pets or kids so a Rats may keep them alive. I now have C.A.T and rats that I carry. No mater what you use if you save the life of a person then good on you.

Re: Rats tq
Was going to add but it’s been said. I’d never carry the RATS. I carry a SOFT-T W every day flat folded. Even with shorts! There are shorts with cargo pockets people!

Re: Rats tq
Just get a Recon TQ, it's what a CAT should be....at a much better price point.
CoTCCC does not test anything, they read evaluations and studies of others to make their determinations. Needless to say...what makes the cut to even be looked can get a bit political.
