What's your experience with an OWL?

This is the place to discuss shooting-related gear: LBV's, Tac, BDU's, etc...

What's your experience with an OWL?

Post by Pro2a »

In my never ending search for knowledge, I happened across this article...

https://www.offgridweb.com/preparation/ ... echniques/

Skipping the techniques aspect of the article, it goes more in depth on how the cooler 4000K light is more advantageous to the shooter in many ways, including the processing of brain power.
I find this highly fascinating, yet I see this name come up rarely when the WML discussion comes up. If their price and warranty are reflective of the quality, I'm willing to fork out a chunk o money for this.
Does anyone have experience with these?
It seems like candelabra seems to be a more important factors than the magical "lumens" word.
Here's a great comparison review of the difference in light.

Some bad reviews on Amazon from last year, lots of good reviews. Take reviews for what they are i guess. Seems like a nice light from the video. Like to hear real world experience. Probably overkill for most applications. Price point a bit high but not if you need it. Like to hear more.
