In the past, I have always carried at the Renfest, usually a Glock in an IWB holster.

For the past couple of years, I've started wearing a costume. It kind of made it close to impossible to carry...but I *do* carry a full-sized *real* sword, so...that's something.

Jack Dupp, can't help but picture you as the balding guy who still wears his high school varsity jacket with that attitude lol.
LOL. Wrong on both accounts. Still have all of my luscious locks... 8-) That dang festival has been the bane of my existence for the last 27 years.
If you live anywhere near there I can see it being a giant pain. I Live on S Ellsworth maybe a mile from the 60 and thought .. meh .. I will be there in no time. Shoot I didn't get much past the Walmart and it was sitting traffic all the way to the front gate of the festival. I think it took about an hour.

Like I said .. they checked my camera bag but I was armed and no one wanded me.
Alex....PICS OF THE WENCHES! or it didn't happen ....LOL
