I worked in an industry many years ago that unfortunately, during part of the year at least 90% of my customer base was Canadian snow-birds.

To sum it up shortly, I have never encountered such cheap, condescending, impatient, and rude people anywhere. I made awesome money there (due to a very substantial bonus system) and left because of the Canadian snowbirds. It wasn't worth the stress and high blood pressure. I knew eventually I was going to kill one/two/all of them if I had to keep dealing with them - and I am the most non-violent easy going dude you will ever meet.

I would go to the bank, my fav places to eat, etc - all clogged up with rude, cheap, complaining Canadians.

I am glad I do not have to deal with that anymore. It was seriously detrimental to my health. I could write a book about my experiences - it was non stop, every day.

They're gone thank goodness. They had to be out of here several weeks ago. About half my condo complex are Canadians. You nailed it on the head about their attitude and behavior. Now some of that depends on which part of Canada they're from. Western, not so bad. If they speak French at all those are the bad ones.

No I think they are going to stay because of the covid 19. They have more freedom here than New York or New Jersey

That would make sense, I've had three Canadian customers. One was Rich(makes more money than all of us here combined), second was just as rich. The other was just typical. The two rich customers was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. The other one, eh not so much being nice.

Met a nice snowbird named John last Tuesday. He's a skeet shooting instructor from Minnesota.

Retired Aeronautical Engineer and an all around great guy. He'll be going home in a couple of weeks.

I hate to say it. I'd rather have snowbirds than SoCal or ghetto from eastern and midwest.
