Does anyone carry one of these as a backup or main carry? Thinking about one.

If my life is in danger, the last thing I want to do is unfold my gun and only have one shot. Many better options out there for $400.

I think it was one of those things that somebody made just to see if they could -- an interesting engineering challenge -- not because there was an actual market need.

I have always advocated 22 rimfire weapons as the next better thing, to using knuckles. But, a minimum of a six shooter, at the very least.

Personally,... I would prefer a good fighting knife, to a single shot 22 rimfire,... it can do more damage, in a very short amount of time, imo.

Don't take me wrong, I do carry a 9 shot auto 22 rimfire with a 45acp,... because it can be hidden on me, where a 45 can't, and where I can have my hand on it without drawing attention, if things get up close and personal.

Some say, "my pistol is for getting me to my rifle".

I say, my 22 rimfire will get me to my 45.

My advice,... get a good knife, instead.

'Unfold'...LOL...that's the truth right there...

(in a high-pitched neurotic Woody Allen New Yawkah voice)

"Um, okay Mr Criminal, hang on a minute.....let me just....hang on, just a second, I have to....oh my Gawd, what is it with these things?....every time....I just have to open this....it's very finicky....almost there....appreciate your patience on this....."

If you want to carry a very small, flat .22, consider the High Standard double action .22WMR derringer.

Excellent choice.
I have had one of these in my pocket for years.

Consider this ,... at less than $275, 11.1 ounces, 4.75 inches long with a 2.33 inch tip up barrel, 8 round mag + 1 in chamber, optional thumb safety,... that I can consistently hit a tennis ball at 25 yards with 60 grain Aquila SniperSS ammo, and, basically forget it is in my pocket,... it doesn't get much better for a 22 LR pocket piece, imo.
