What good would that do?

In case you see some suspicious Russians down by the dock?

Seriously?

But, that didn't answer the question of why. Other than, because you simply can.

FWIW, I also don't carry my security model 12ga slung over my shoulder all day either.

Why would anyone carry a suppressor in a holster? If you have enough time to attach a suppressor, you would have time to put a rifle like my backpack firearm together.

Two pins and I have a 300 whisper, 5.56 or 458 SOCOM, any of which could have a suppressor attached. Why would I use a pistol if a suppressed or unsuppressed rifle is available?

It just makes no sense to me, so I go with the earlier question, why?

There you go thinking again. Not everyone has a take down AR in a back.pack or a 511 shoulder bag. I had a kydex sleeve made that has belt loops and sometimes I wear it behind my OWB holster. Now again does anyone else carry there silencer with them?

Unless there is some China knock-off AR every AR in existence is a "takedown". 2 pins make it easier than the Ruger 10-22 takedown. Maybe they aren't SBRs but they are all takedown rifles.

Now, ignoring your crap, why would anyone carry a suppressor in a holster?

Try to avoid your attention deficit disorder and stay on topic for one second. Why would anyone do it, for what purpose? Perhaps, look like a bad-ass wanna-be operator?

Why I ask you , Why??

First thing first. So you don't have one of these.

Yes mine AR does fit Into a 511 bag.
But anyway I like having a silencer with me because if I have to use my weapon I
can keep what hearing I have left. Why a holster because my pockets are not heat rated.

What is the scenario you envision?

Late night run to the Circle-K...you are grabbing a bag of Funyuns. You hear a commotion at the front of the store, and look up to see someone robbing the cashier at knife point. You then conceal yourself between the Mike And Ikes and cashews, silently drawing your holstered weapon and suppressor, stealthily screwing on the can.

Have fun in court. Any prosecutor will make the case that if you had enough time to attach a suppressor, there was no clear and present danger to your life.

Don't ask silly questions if you don't want silly answers.

I know that's why I asked it. This column has been still for a while and I thought I would throw some things out to see people get more engaged. I carry the way I carry. I don't care what people think . Just wanted to get this area moving again.

Dont forget the tactical roll to cover before the put put sound that ends the danger.
