If you have astigmatism , only red dot to get: holosun

Discuss firearm optics, sights, and scopes here (magnified, red-dot, iron sights, etc).

I have a couple of Holosuns, and all of them are blury to me. Stupid eyes.

One thing I did notice though, when shooting up a Rio Salado, the dot wasn't blury at all, just a very small rectangle. I think it had something to do with shooting from a shaded place out into a very bright one. The dot was blury again when I looked at it at home.

HE503GU Elite HE503GUGRELITE
I also bought the micro version for pistol
The ring does not need your eyes to line up
But as others have mentioned you can ask your eye doctor to adjust prescription
I am going to check on that

I'm amazed at how many people have astigmatism and refuse to get glasses to correct it.
I wear glasses, latest prescriptions, and still have a slight astigmatism. And the dots are not turned up too brightly.

The cure I have found, is for the latest models of the Trijicon MRO.
If you have glasses and still have astigmatism, you need new glasses that are ground correctly to correct your astigmatism. I have it too but my glasses fix it just fine and have for over 30 years.

My glasses are new, no change. What works for you doesn't mean it will or could work for me. I'm okay with that actually. I'm better with just irons on my EDC anyway.

It doesn't matter what works for me or you.

What does matter is that if you have glasses to correct your astigmatism and they don't, you need new ones from a doctor who knows how to measure your astigmatism correctly.

Everyone's astigmatism is correctable, not just mine. You just have to get a doctor who knows what they're doing.

I just assumed all red dots where blurred. My astigmatism is somewhat corrected by my contacts but my Aimpoint is still not crisp. Learn something new everyday.

Thanks!!!

lol

And I'm going to tell you what matters is that you should not be so invested with arguing some random person over something that is in actuality, a worthless hill to lay on. And contrary to your feelings, not everyone's astigmatism can be corrected, for example if the cornea is too thin or the refractive error too high, which is the reality here. Please do your research before trying to pick fights with people that are not your enemy.

We are done, this case is now closed.

Prism scopes are the way to go. get one with etched glass and it will work with no battery.

What is wild is that since I went to my last eye appointment I never knew I had one. Got my first prescription and it was like a whole new world. The red dot doesn't bother me though. The only red dot I have is a romeo 5 which is supposedly holosun posing as sig from what I heard.

Romeo 5s are good. I've got 2 of them, one on an AR and one on an MPX.
