Anyone know anything,...

Discuss firearm optics, sights, and scopes here (magnified, red-dot, iron sights, etc).

I would be a bit leery only because a 3X magnifier is a bit touchy. At 5X it better be real high quality and at that price, I would want somebody with experience also.

But hey, Amazon return policies are great. Worst case, a couple bucks for shipping the return or a drop-off. Would be worthwhile to try it and report back here.

Ever since Tasco became a household name, especially these days of cheap knock-offs, I would put money on it being China...

(Yes, I know Tasco was made in Japan, then China... whatever)

Yah, pretty much everything is made in China, now, not much of a surprise, if true.

I guess it is a just released product/company,... too early to get any feed back. I guess it is another one of those 'TAKE MY CHANCES' product.

Thanks, anyway.

Hey 444, First off ,I suspect anything optical under 100 bucks of being Chinese .Be it American branded or not.

I have been very leery after being fleeced on a couple of Buck automatics . And I have a pretty good eye for knives !
A good way to do some checking on the sleazy world of knockoffs and China products is to check these two import houses. They ship direct direct to any rat dicked con man and after doing some study you start to recognize the stuff at gun shows , armslist and amazon.
Here are some random red dot reflex stuff complete with knock-off labeling , knockoff boxes and paperwork , worthless guarantees etc.

https://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/search ... x&catalog=

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/ ... 7d5fPguDRy

Endless knives, many with complete counterfeit marks and boxes. :o

Some of the stuff is OK ,, as long as you KNOW what it is !

Caveat Emptor,,,,, for sure !!!!

I would stay away from that.

I would try to stick with Vortex or Aimpoint or EOTECH.

You will get better results from a good name brand.

Just my opinion.
