Even if we were talking about their high end stuff and dropping well over a thousand dollars for an optic it still wouldn't be a Vortex. If I have that kind of money to drop on a scope it is going to say Nightforce, March or S&B on it.

You are obviously not in the market for a high-end scope but I would look at similarly priced options from Nikon or Burris and get a much better optic. Natchez shooters supply often has Nikon and Burris optics deeply discounted.
I would disagree on their high end stuff.
I own several in the Razor line and have been very happy.

I own the crossfire, viper and have had the razor...like all things in life you get what you pay for...the crossfire does it’s job for the amount of money I spent..I also have Leo’s, Nikon,Burris..and I believe the vortex is best bang for the buck...just run to the store and find what model your looking for and compare with others...only you will know what’s best for you not us...but this isn’t about other brands...buy what you can afford in the vortex lineup if that’s all you got you probably won’t be disappointed, but if you don’t like it sell it to one of us for cheaper

I have done the same shooting from behind my vortex as I did out of my former high end glass.... vortex quality is well beyond it's price point. I have shot from behind both. I now have vortex for most of my glass.

I usually only buy Vortex or Nikon.

I would love to have a "high end" optic on a few of my rifles, but I am happy to acknowledge that my state of (in)accuracy is more a product of my own failings than the capability of my optics / firearms. Lol.

Been happy with both brands over the years. I have also had good luck with the Vortex red-dots as well.

I have a middle of the road vortex and like it. Its great for the money and have had no problems with it. I am currently looking at the crossfire for a 10/22 that needs some glass as well.

Only vortex I had was the $200 red dot on a .22 and failed completely during a match. Got a replacement but I’d go with something better. I am a glass snob but ymmv

I'm anxious to get into a viper.... I'm just waiting for the right deal to pop up. I have only ever heard good stuff about them.
