Any info on Athlon scopes? They look interesting for the street price.
They have a very solid lineup. I got to sample their wares at the NRAAM, and bought two of the Talos 1-4x BTR's for a couple of my AR's. Adjustments are positive and repeatable, glass is very good (better than the Primary Arms and Leupold I messed with, comparable with Vortex, Nightforce, and S&B [yeah, I said that]). Between them and Vortex, my optics needs are covered.

Has any one used or have an opinion on Konus Pro 6.5-25x44 scopes? My brother has been using one for 3 + years and never had a problem. Seems to track well and to my eyes seems to have decent optical qualities. The few times I've looked thru it seems to be on same level a Bushnell Elite scopes.

So far I have very good luck with my Burris 5x25x50 II. For the money it's hard to beat. I have done long range with it, at 1,000 yards.

Yes, I have one on an AR long distance build,... I have no complaints at all, but I have only had it for about a year, and only shot it out to 200 yds a half dozen times.
I also have a fixed 4X, probably from their very early production years that is fantastic in every aspect,... imo!

I have a Burris illuminated 3.5-10x50mm that is probably 20 plus years old, that I can't kill! I think Burris is an excellent scope maker!

I've ben thinking of buying one for my 308 POF. I can't keep putting Nightforce or even Burris XTR II'S, Bushnell Elites on my rifles without a hassle from the boss. I forgot to mention my brother in law also has used the same model on his S&W MP10 for almost 4 years without a problem. Seems like a lot of scope for not much money.

If you search through this thread, you will find my original post about Konus,... it really is the only cheap scope I have found, over the years, that I am very satisfied with.
I hate to recommend cheap scopes, out of the fear that I got a good one and someone else may get a lemon. You never know when QC can change with any company, on any product,.... so, it all is basically a crap shoot, imo.
