Redfield and SWFA on mid grade stuff
If memory serves I believe US forces were using them on 50 Cal's so they must have sufficient elevation adjustment if they are using them on 50 Cal's.

90 MOA adjustment on a 20 MOA base should be enough for a pretty good poke…

I had a leupold VX-3 Varmint 6.5x20x50 .... one of the best scopes I ever had, kick myself for selling it.

I have two of these 4.5x14 and the 8.5x25 (they sold out)
In all fairness of the conversation, they are $1,000 scopes.
