I bought this to practice mil-dot ranging in a socially acceptable and invisible manner. It has since become my preferred optic for scouting, hunting and general use.
It’s more compact than binoculars and easier to use with my glasses.

I have one in my pistol shooting bag, because as I have gotten older, the holes in the paper targets have gotten smaller.

That is some truth, right there.smithers599 wrote: ↑February 21st, 2021, 7:02 pm I have one in my pistol shooting bag, because as I have gotten older, the holes in the paper targets have gotten smaller.
Went to splatter targets a while ago and even those are getting blurry.

Yes, mil-hash. There are two different models, so if you want the reticle, you have to specify.

That looks like a great little eye piece. Thanks for bringing it up.
I currently use 8x binoculars, but something a little more compact would be nice to have along too. I've only seen spotting scopes with an L shaped reticle before, and I think I'd prefer that too.
