Chad man!!! Actually I shoot right handed, but it's actually not too bad.theChad wrote: ↑April 16th, 2020, 10:38 pm Hey man!
How you carrying that comfortably with the noticably larger sight on top? OWB leftie hip? IWB leftie 7-8 o'clock? Just curious because I know you're about my size, but in a leftie package. Might need good ideas for a 1911 frame and a red Dot of sorts.

I guess that'll help from catching brass in the face.Bigfoot wrote: ↑April 17th, 2020, 3:49 pmChad man!!! Actually I shoot right handed, but it's actually not too bad.theChad wrote: ↑April 16th, 2020, 10:38 pm Hey man!

This has a higher profile than an RMR, but a lower cost. So far I'm really happy with it. I've noticed the guy on Active Self Protection youtube channel here in AZ is running a couple of them now.desertoperator wrote: ↑May 23rd, 2020, 3:28 pm I'm torn between the trijicon rmr and this for a backup canted site on my patrol M4.

Re: Holosun 507C Red Dot
I picked up one of the older ones because it was on sale. I wanted to try it out before i committed to milling a slide for it, so I put it on a 22/45. There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get used to it, its is good to go. Will probably look into milling a slide for it soon.

Currently have one of these on my pistol, but have a RMR in the mail. As soon as it arrives the Holosun will be going on the rifle with an off axis mount.desertoperator wrote: ↑May 23rd, 2020, 3:28 pm I'm torn between the trijicon rmr and this for a backup canted site on my patrol M4.

I'm having one installed on my G19 as we speak! Glad to hear you've had a good experience with yours so far.

I have issues picking up the Dot quickly on my FNP45 Tactical. The advice of lining the rear of the slide with the tip of your nose seems to help some. Thanks for the tip.

I've got dot acquisition down pretty good now. I found the right grip, shoulder and elbow feel that gives me the dot. Just need more muscle memory now.
