9mm armor-piercing developments - The Dagny Dagger
I talked to this guy a couple years ago about his project. I was skeptical because he was not a gundude like you or I, but rather was simply philosophically in line with the idea of freedom. Thus, he was embarking on a whole new set of knowledge he needed to learn, as he had only bought his first ever reloading press a few weeks before to pursue this. I wished him well, and figured I wouldn't ever hear about him again.
But I was wrong, happily so.

As our friend Matt at Demolition ranch has shown on several videos solid copper 9mm will often defeat 3A armor. It looks like soft armor relies on deforming lead core bullets to stop them. The solid copper does not deform much and is able to pierce through. In this video subsonic speed 9mm solid copper goes through.

The problem is that both the MSM + the Gov't probably read "Ammoland", and since he has a web site, it won't take long for some new legislation.

Russians have done this before.
They developed a 9X19 round called the 7N31 for their GSH-18 pistol back in the 90s.
Not quite as polished as your friends round though, I wouldn’t mind having a mag or two loaded with Dagny Daggers for “just in case” scenarios.

That probably should be 9X18. They also had one with a tungsten-titanium penetrator that would penetrate some plate armor. The poster above was right about Level III being able to stop "deforming lead core" bullets. It will stop most standard ammo but won't stop a stiletto, dagger or non mechanical broadheads. A Zwickey Eskimo or Bear Razorhead will cut through them like a hot knife through butter. Just wait till the libs find out about the "armor-piercing" arrows.

The comment section makes me sad.
The rounds though are cool as hell. 2300fps out of a 4.5 bbl !
Probably super light bullet but that shot into gel was impressive and being able to take out androids and robots.... Cool beans.
I would be happy to just score the bullets.

There is more than one way to skin a cat as they say....
One of my wildcats i'm working on.
getting 2200 ft/sec with AA#9 from my 5.2" barrel confirmed via lab radar. 34gr bullet. Have some 30gr bullets to try as well.

Nope! Not many conduits these days. In the days of Backpage it was just a matter of hours before I sold stuff.
