I am looking for lead shot preferably reclaimed. Where is a good place to go in the valley for bags of shot?

I’ve looked into reloading shot-shells in the past and it didn’t seem to make any financial sense. It’s so cheap to buy the Commerical stuff. I’m curious why you want to reload for shotgun?

If you reload standard shells for 12 gauge or 20 gauge, you're right.

If you reload non standard 12 gauge or 20 gauge or you reload 16 gauge, 28 gauge or 410 bore, you can save a lot of money.

I load 20 gauge spreaders and .410 bore on a weekly basis.

I reload lots of non-standard 12 ga. loads (home made buck & slug and shorties) and .410 Bore. Since I have the equipment I can and have loaded "normal" 12 ga. but I usually just buy some of the cheap stuff if I need it.

Any loading is therapy to me, yes buying cheap small bird and clay target loads is by far a better value. I have not loaded any clay target shells for clay busting in the last three years or so. I shoot cheap Remington Gun Clubs, Winchester universals, Federal game loads as they break targets just as well as any thing I can load or buy high end trap loads. Now 16 gauge stuff, 12 gauge buck or heavy bird loads are cheaper to load than buy.
