Less than Lethal

All I have been able to reload to date are Rock salt,and a hand made bean bag round out of old nylon and #6 1/2 shot,might try some pepper corns but will keep trying different things.

Any one here load any less than lethal 12 ga rounds? Any special kind? In these times I may have to try some.Any thoughts?

Are you opposed to just buying them for some reason? Granted they're a little harder to come by right now than they normally are. They are still around if you look.

I am not sure why I would ever need less than lethal rounds in any gun.
What ever happened to the " do not point a gun at anything you do not want to destroy or kill " ?

That sounds great until you open up on a violent mob with a rifle and have to deal with the consequences. "Violent rioter," turns into, "Unarmed protester," pretty quick once the media and court system gets a hold of you.

A friend told me he loaded some 4-10 shells with rock salt to shoot in his Taurus Judge. The first 2 rounds are rock salt to get whatever a**hole to stop what they're doing and if they don't get the message and keep going they get the 45lc. Not sure it's a good strategy, but it makes you think.

Guys, when you point a firearm at someone, you're implementing LETHAL FORCE. Johnny Law ain't gonna care if it's UNloaded, much less WHAT it's loaded with. IF the perp don't deserve to get shot with real-deal ammo, then you best swap out the gat for a bat, or some such.
