The new ammo shortage panic has begun

#1

Post by Suck My Glock »

A friend was at Cabela's tonite and dudes were swiping ALL the 9mm ammo off the shelves. The staff went in back to find more to put out on display and folks were snatching it up as they put it out.

It has begun.

If you didn’t learn from post-Sandy Hook to stockpile or reload, it is already too late.

Did anybody go to the Mesa Crossroads Gun Show today?
Long lines at the Miwall booth?
Sold out in the first half hour?
9mm FMJ for $1/round?

Or business as usual?

Luckily I invested heavily into .22LR during the Dark Ages/Obama Years. I'm good.

At my current rate of .22LR consumption, I will still have a few .50cal cans full to pass down to my son when I die. Purchased when the shelves restocked and after the panic buying of ‘12-‘15.

I saw the add from Sportsman's and went this morning right after opening to get the 9mm and they were completely out of 9mm. They had a little of 38 and a few 45. They had a boat load of 40's. They had a make-shift queuing line at the gun counter but not too many people there at the moment.
I was picking some up for my daughter who recently purchased a fire arm, ended going home and finding some online just a bit more than the sale price. I also have stocked up

This is crazy, I am afraid to see what will happen if a REAL emergency hits!!!!!

I hope it cools back off or people liquidate their stash at a nice discount when the panic is over and they need to pay off those credit cards.

If people wouldn't wait until they are out of something before they decide to buy more , they wouldn't have these problems.
I have never been effected by an ammo shortage.

aw its a ruse to get everyone to buy the other calibres, the ones the guns set forever in case and ammo grows moss on it on shelf, don't fall for it, hold the line.
