I sold my "arsenal of weapons" last year, as I was planning on moving to The Philippines, but I've postponed that move due to the excellent chance that China is going to "light off" a real war,
and I don't want to be in SE Asia when that happens.
I kept my Glock 29 -10mm; that's all I have now, and 10mm has enough "power" to cover a lot of applications, depending on the type of ammo used. I carry Underwood 180 gr. XTP's, but I also have "hotter" and "lighter" rounds too.
I'm keeping 10mm

My buddy has a 29. Gotta be sure to have a solid grip on that guy...

Re: I'm keeping 10mm
I have a G30 that I've carried for a very long time - and that is now semi-retired... I toyed with doing the barrel swap for 10MM - but after shooting a buddy's G33 (subcompact .357 sig) and G27 (subcompact .40sw) I thought better of it. Might be a fun novelty shoot - but I'm guessing that a subcompact 10mm is going to take a while to get back on target after the first shot...
No disrespect to the cartridge itself... there's a whole lot of good there... but from a practical perspective I'd want it in a bigger, heavier platform if I were going to use it to defend myself...

Primarily a 30 year old Galco fanny pack. I do have a strong side IWB kydex holster for it as well - but like you - it was never really comfortable. It is thicker than my fullsize PDP - which carries more comfortably. The fact that I didn't like carrying it holstered is a big piece of what drove me to replace it...

Kydex Koozie dude, I keep telling you guys. I sat 18 hours, each way, with my Shield Plus in appendix while driving to Texas and back.
Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

The Shield Plus is about 0.2" thinner than the 30. Big difference in bulk stuffed IWB.
