6mm Remington ammo , where to buy

I am looking for some 6mm Remington ammo and can't seem to find any in stock anywhere.
If you know where it can be had , I would appreciate the information.

It seems to be a far and few between caliber these days. Never used to be.
It's not for me. It's for a friend of mine.
There are other guns he can use but he wants to use his 6mm.
It will probably be his last hunt and that is the gun he wants to use.

It's one of those calibers that had its heyday in the 60s and 70s, but .243 eclipsed it and has fallen by the wayside.
In grade school, one of my friend's daddy had an old Remington 700 in that caliber. I haven't seen one since.

You can find some on Gunbroker but it's expensive.

Does your friend have any brass? If you can borrow a set of dies and your friend has some brass, I can load some for you guys. I have everything else, just need dies and brass.

Looks like 7mm Mauser (7x57) can be formed to 6mm Remington. But you should step it down to 260 then 6mm
Then you need to fireform and trim to length.
If you don’t already reload, you will need to start reloading.
Alternatively you have to pay the premium on what’s available
Either way this cartridge will require a considerable financial commitment.
