9mm and 5.56 (brass cases) were a MINIMUM of $1 per round.

What's more unbelievable is that apparently people are paying it.

Fairly simple... You wanna go shooting. You don't have any ammo... hence you'll pay what you have to to get it. :eusa-think:

If I paid $1.00 a round for 9mm or .223 I wouldn't be able bring myself to shoot it. It would be strictly for when SHTF.

Those prices are absolutely insane. I glad I reload and set for powder and projos for the foreseeable future.

The ammo tables had the longest lines and the highest prices. Unfortunately, I had to stand in line for about 45 minutes just to find out it wasn't worth the price.

I used to smoke cigarets. Many years ago.
When I quit smoking , cigarets were 50 cents a pack ( 35 cents on base ) and gas was 50 cents a gallon.
I said if gas ever gets to $1.00 a gallon I will stop driving.
Well guess what ?

Time to go back to shooting a bow. At least you can shoot the same projectile over and over again ...
