I stumbled upon a few of these primers recently. Is there any reason not to use them like any other LR Magnum primer when shooting through a bolt gun without a free floating firing pin? I can't think of any.
Unless others have seen it happen, I have a tough time thinking my rifle's firing pin won't hit the primer hard enough to set it off.
This would be a new load developed from scratch, so the powder reduction to compensate for the magnum primer would be built in.
Thanks.

They'll work fine.

I've never had a problem using them in any of my AR's.
