Building a new AR in 450BM. Surprisingly, for a "non-mainstream" caliber, I'm not finding much.
Are there rocks I have yet to over turn?

Re: 450 Bushmaster
The 450 BM suffers from using 451 bullets, so finding components that will stand up to rifle velocity is somewhat challenging.
Most folks would go with .458 SOCOM for a thumper since it uses .458 components which are much heavier built.
Honestly I think that the 450 is only somewhat popular in a couple Midwestern states that require straight wall cartridges for hunting.

Re: 450 Bushmaster
When I chose to go 450 vs 458, ammo for the 450 was considerably less expensive..hence my choice.
