Online ammo stores

Post by Vaultboy »

I’m looking at getting some range ammo as well as self defense ammo in 9mm. Anyone recommend good online stores. I think that may be an easier route than hitting the local

Go to ammoseek.com. They are not a store; they are a database of stores.
Type in the caliber, then click on the box on the left side that says "Modify Search" so you can narrow your search. Ammoseek will tell you which online store has the best price/shipping costs for what you are shopping for.

SGAmmo or TargetSportsUSA are my two usuals. I try for SGA first since they’re a small family business and have always treated me right, but once in awhile TargetSports has an amazing special, and they also offer free shipping on case quantities.

http://unammo.com/ is local on Glendale/I-17. But we have to pay sales tax, I can have a case delivered to my daughter in Minnesota cheaper than over the counter. But they've been fair to me for years.

Most online dealers are now charging sales tax at the rate of whatever state you are ordering from.

I really like target sports but with the newest rush they have backed out their shipping even further. Great place with great pricing and I have used them going on 2 years but my last order was shipped 12 business days after order and then its 5-6 days with ups.

It is what it is and what I ordered wasnt something I needed sooner .. just thought I would let everyone know .. I am sure its the same for most other online places.

but

if I have to wait 12 days somewhere .. targetsposrts usually has the best pricing and I like that their site is kept up to date on availability.

Yep. SGAammo used to not charge it, but they do now. They were one of my favorites.

Just took a look at ammoseek and you can get some .223 at .36¢ a round.

Cheapest I have seen so far.
