Rebel Silencers - recant disappointment

#1

Post by DMeacham »

Welp, a friend of a friend introduced me to this brand almost a year ago. Said I should support them and give them a try, and for my first can, I’d really like it. They apparently had an ATF issue, and lost their FFL (rumor is selling cans to local PD on form 5 for personal use). Now I have my can, stamp took 338 days to come in, but the parts I ordered with are MIA. I have the can, but the thread adapters are for wrong thread pitches.

Anyone in here know of a machinist who can make the thread adapter for 5/8 x 38 for a .458 socom barrel? I don’t have calipers handy to get OD, and don’t have a thread guide for the exterior threads.

Thanks... pics for reference.

Morgan at Class 3 machining( https://class3machining.com/ ), summer is his slow months, so he should have time. Send him the adapater and he can copy it into whatever pitch you want.

Okay, I found out the Fab on the adapter was more than a new barrel with correct thread pitch.

Replaced barrel and took it out yesterday and fired about 30 rounds down range.

I stand corrected in my disappointment with the can. It does a great job. Now I just have to get my tuning down so it doesn’t FTE every 3 rounds.
