Form 1 SBR?

#1

Post by HWill »

I have a couple of rifles/pistols I'm looking to SBR (ACR and CZ Scorpion).

Did the efile ever come back for this?

I'm just now starting the process of looking into it and figured I'd see how everyone is doing it right now.

I thought I heard on SilencerShop their efile Form 1 was coming back this summer. Anyone heard anything on this?

I finally got my trust done and have a suppressor on the long waiting list.

efile F1's have been back for 8 months or so. Average time is about 3 weeks(ish) right now.

I've done 3 eF1 SBRs, and 2 suppressors. Piece of cake.

What's the best option for fingerprints?

I use a place in Tempe. They'll take them digitally, so when you need reprints you can just walk in/walk out. Same price, but faster and cleaner.

Do you have to go to a specific place to do the efile? I just went through SilencerShop a month ago to get my suppressor ordered, I did the finger prints via a Kiosk at a local gun shop. Will this make it easier to do or will I need to submit fingerprints again.

Thanks a lot for the information.

Efile is done on your PC. Picture is attached on the website. You will send in prints with the cover sheet that is emailed to you. This is only for Form 1, not Form 4.

If you’ve ever bought anything through Silencer Shop, you can also order sets of fingerprints through them. They will print copies of the fingerprints you did at the kiosk and mail them to you. I don’t remember the price off the top of my head, but it wasn’t bad - maybe $10ish and beats a drive somewhere.
