Fill out form on efrom site, attach photo, submit fingerprint card, and get your approval in just a couple weeks?

Re: Eforms. Form 1 Really that easy?
I haven't done an a eFrom Form1 since 2015-2016, so I'm not sure if there has been any changes to the processing, but my last one took between 7 to 9 months for approval.

I guess since they have come back online the wait is way down.

According to NFA Tracker it is about 2 to 2.2 months for approval for eFile Form 1 w/Trust.

E-forms were pretty short lived last time they were up and some things have changed post 41F/P.Viper 1-26 INF wrote: ↑November 13th, 2018, 10:14 am I haven't done an a eFrom Form1 since 2015-2016, so I'm not sure if there has been any changes to the processing, but my last one took between 7 to 9 months for approval.
Currently wait time is averaging right around two weeks since it went live a month or two ago. I submitted one right after it came back and got an approval in 11 days. I mailed my prints just regular first class otherwise it might have been even faster. Supposedly Silencer Shop will be integrating with e-form 1's on their site so wait times could start to go up because of that.

If it's that fast right now, I might just have to do a couple more.

Yeah, I was gonna be content with 1 SBR. But, now I'll probably do a DIY suppressor too.
I started to fill out the stuff today, but didn't have time to finish it. How do you pay?

You just pay with the credit card right before you submit the F1 on the ATF website.XJThrottle wrote: ↑November 13th, 2018, 3:35 pm Yeah, I was gonna be content with 1 SBR. But, now I'll probably do a DIY suppressor too.

Filed! Hope I did it all right...
Why two print cards? I was sending in a hard copy form 4 and was told that one copy was good.
Do the forms and print card need to be in any kind of special envelope?

Re: Eforms. Form 1 Really that easy?
From what I can remember it's always been two print cards. I never did fingerprint cards except for post 41P because I used a trust previously. I've sent in two print cards with all the F4's since then. My SOT always gives me two to submit also. I was told you only need one set of cards if sending in more than one F4 at the same time. But other than that, 2 cards per form.XJThrottle wrote: ↑November 13th, 2018, 7:41 pm Filed! Hope I did it all right...

I just mailed them in a regular manilla envelope. A lot of people are sending them priority with tracking or even overnight. I don't see the need.
Edit: You'll have to keep us updated on how it goes.

If you want to submit anything, right now would be a good time. Won't be long before e-forms is at multiple months +..

Re: Eforms. Form 1 Really that easy?
I messed up the model on the form, and got an email about it today. The person on the other end seemed knowledgeable about what I had done, and had the correct answer for what it should be to verify.
I responded, and had another email in just a few minutes stating the status of my application was changed to " submitted", and got a control number.
Filed eform Tuesday.
Money went through Wednesday.
Question from ATF lady, and verified submitted Thursday.
I better get my prints in the mail....

Re: Eforms. Form 1 Really that easy?
I don't know about the rest of you, but getting prints and photos made can be kind of a PITA.
The place nearest my house happened to offer walk in print service, and was on the way home from work. Perfect. Vertical Identity around 24st and University. Yesterday I went in about 15 minutes before they close telling the gal I needed 6 sets. She wasn't all that happy as she was about to leave. Halfway through filling out the first card she tells me to stop, we'll just use the digital print machine. Cool! Well, kinda. Taking the prints was easy, getting their printer to work correctly was another story.
She tried for the better part of 30 minutes before asking if it was OK if I came back the next day to pick them up. No problem, I couldn't mail them out anyway. She then tells me that they keep your prints on file and can bring them up for reprint any time. Cool again. Just $10 a card. She had them all ready for me this morning.
I also got lucky with the photos. I had the gal at CVS do one set of Passport photos, then she cropped the image a little and was able to get 4 on to a 4x6 print for 35 cents extra. 42 passport photos and an ice tea, $20.
A trip to the post office this afternoon got everything in the mail...

Vertical Identity also has a west side location.
